Welcome to the first edition of “Sample Saturday” (the crowd roars) for this day forward every Saturday I will bless you with some really dope music that you might already know and love, or not. For every hip-hop track I will also provide the original track that was sampled by the producer of the hip-hop track.
This was inspired by the fact that I listen to a lot of hip-hop music and classic “oldies” and everyone is always surprise to hear the classics I listen and never really know who it is…. so you can consider this sort of educational for those that don’t much about music. Well you do know damn near 99 percent of hip-hop records were produced with a sample of a older record.
