Restaurants you need to try

2 Minutes Read Leave a Comment

Helloooo Friends,

Sliding in to share some nice organic/healthy/vegetarian/vegan restaurants to try in LA;

Shojin – DTLA

Love this plant-based sushi restaurant. My coworker took me here to make up for flaking on an

invite to a show. After dinner, I had to forgive. The atmosphere is so lovely and sushi yummy.

Favorite: Purple Treasure – Fried tender eggplant on a tempeh avocado roll topped with shredded chili and sweet miso sauce. Treat yourself.
Juliano’s Raw – Santa Monica

“The art of medicinal cuisine”

One blessed day in June, a dear friend and I decided to go RAW for the month of July.

We lasted just one week on this quest but in the process we discovered this amazing raw food place.

My favorite: Bangkok Thai noodles and the kreamy miso soup.
Veggie Grill

Tried their meat-less Buffalo wings & buffalo bomber sandwich a little while ago and I loved them.

Definitely a great spot for vegans who don’t already know about this place and the non-vegans

looking to try vegan meals
CurryWurst (Fairfax Avenue)
Dope German spot. They serve bomb vegan sausages on a bun!
Favorite: Vegan smoked apple and sage or Vegan Mexican chipotle [depending on my mood :-)]

Sage
This spot in Silver lake and Culver City is one recommendation I haven’t tried yet but I definitely will soon.
Sabi’s favorite: “The Soul Bowl” is something I found people who aren’t even vegan seem to like.
Stuff I Eat (Inglewood)
Another Sabi recommendation
According to her, they have a soul food plate that is also out of this world.
Will definitely be trying a meal here soon. You should too.

Big thank you to Sabi for her input

Love,

Ade
