We would love for you to volunteer to help us feed 270 homeless individuals. Please check out the information below.

Why: We hope to inspire and light a fire inside everyone to give back and help change the lives of others who have lost hope. Everyone deserves a second chance. Let’s try with one person at a time.
When: Christmas Eve, Dec 24, 2013
Time: 1pm (Lunchbag prep: 11am)
Meetup Location: ROOFTOP 3100 / 3100 Wilshire Blvd Los Angeles, Ca 90010
Goal:
To feed 270 people.
Number of volunteers needed: 27
Volunteers:
Volunteers will meet at the prep location at 11am to prepare 10 lunch bags each. There is a shopping list attached. I will also list it below. Please view. If you are willing and able to donate items towards the event please let us know. $103 will feed 100 individuals. We are asking for at least a $5-10 donation from all volunteers to cover expenses. Volunteer groups will be assigned once we have enough volunteers. If you’re volunteering with friends/family please let us know and we will group you together. Groups will be of 4-5 people.
Once all preparation of lunch bags has finished we will hand out group assignments. Groups are assigned to different locations. (If you have any suggestions of areas we should go please send them through email). We will need at least 6 vehicles available to travel to the locations. We encourage you to carpool. Each volunteer is to pass out at least 10 lunch bags each.

(27) Loaves of Bread – 22 slices/bag
(2) Bottles of Mustard
(17) Packs of Cheese – 12-16 slices/pack
(55) Tomatoes – the packages of 4-6
(23) Lunch Meat Packs – 12 slices/pack
(9) Cookie packages – 30/pack
(12) Cases of Bottled Water – 24/pack
(21) Bags of Fruit – 10-13/bag
(3) Pack of Sandwich Bags – 100/box (the kinds that folds, not zips)
(7) Packs of Brown Paper Bags – 40 per bag
